Rita De Mier, Director of Marketing & Creative Services, South Florida Fair & Palm Beach County Expositions, Inc.

Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Rita has lived in Florida for the past 11 years. She received a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Journalism as well as a master’s degree in Marketing & Advertising. With more than 20 years of experience in advertising and graphic design, she worked as Creative Director at Mancini Enterprises Information Technology, where she acquired experience in online marketing, web design and development. She is currently the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at the South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach, where she was voted Employee of the Year in 2007. She serves on the Board of the Florida Festivals and Events Association, where she’s also the Silent Auction Committee Chair. Mrs. Demier is an active member of the Florida Federation of Fairs, as well as the Hispanic Chamber of the Palm Beaches, and is a certified judge for the Miss Florida Pageant Organization. She enjoys the beach, traveling, golfing, and reading. Rita currently resides in Boca Raton with her daughter Marisabella.
