The 18th Annual Florida Festivals and Events Association Convention and Trade Show will take place July 25 – 27, 2012 at the Delray Beach Marriott in Delray Beach, Florida. It will provide unmatched educational and networking opportunities.

Delray Beach MarriottThis 3-day high quality event will attract nearly 300 event planners, producers, suppliers and sponsors. Three half-day seminars and 32 educational breakout sessions will provide attendees with proven methods and new ways on how to manage and grow their events. Topic tracks will include:
  • Sponsorship solicitation, development and retention
  • Cost effective marketing, including the new social medias
  • Creative programs and partnerships
  • Volunteer recruitment, scheduling and appreciation
  • Helpful operational and administrative techniques

TradeshowA trade show, featuring 40 event suppliers showcasing their most up-to-date products and services, will be open all three days. Promotional items, entered into the SUNsational Awards Program, will be on display throughout the event; the winners will be announced during the luncheon on Friday, July 27th. A silent auction, benefiting the FFEA educational fund, will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Delray Beach Marriott is offering a special room rate of $119 per night on Wednesday and Thursday nights and $109 for Friday and Saturday nights (must have at least one overnight stay at the $119 to be applicable for the $109 rate on Friday and Saturday nights). Room rate fees do not include applicable taxes.

The registration fee is $425 for members and includes the following meal and social functions:
