FFEA Entertainment Showcases
What are Entertainment Showcases?
Entertainment Showcases are opportunities for FFEA members to showcase their talents to over
200 attendees representing events, festivals and fairs as well as industry suppliers and sponsors.
The acts that are selected to perform will have dedicated time slots (ranging from 15 minutes to
one hour) to the attention of the participants - a great way to increase the chances of being booked!
The Entertainment Showcases Committee is seeking a wide variety of unique performances - music,
dance, visual and novelty acts.
When are the Entertainment Showcases?
The Entertainment Showcases will held during the FFEA Annual Convention and Trade Show and occur on the following
days and time periods:
Wednesday, July 25, 2012
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Opening Reception)
Thursday, July 26, 2012
6:30 pm to 9:00 pm (during Thursday Night Social)
Friday, July 27, 2012
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm (during Friday Night Social)
Additional acts may be showcased during lunches, breaks or other times throughout the convention.
Where are the Entertainment Showcases?
The Entertainment Showcases will be held in Delray Beach, Florida during the
FFEA Annual Convention and Trade Show.
How do I participate in the Entertainment Showcase?
Read each and every detail below, fill out the application form and submit what is required!
Important details
- Applications must be received no later than May 25, 2012.
- The application fee is $10 per act submitted and nonrefundable.
- Performers must be FFEA members and exhibit in the Trade Show (booth must be purchased by the artist or member agency the artist represents).
- Performances will be provided 15 minutes to one hour time slots.
- Some basic sound and lights will be provided; performers are responsible for all other stage equipment.
- Acceptance notifications and performance times, set-up details, etc. will be emailed on June 11, 2012.
- If accepted, the artist or artist's agency is responsible for the showcase fee. Showcase fees must be received by June 25, 2012 and are based on the number of performers in the act and are as follows:
- 1 performer   $25
- 2 to 4 performers $50
- 5 and over   $75
- A waiting list will be maintained in the event there is a cancellation. Cancellations must be received by July 9, 2012, in order for your performance fee to be returned.
