This year's FFEA Convention and Trade Show will be held at the Omni Orlando
Resort at ChampionsGate, located just west of Kissimmee. This four-diamond resort is located
within a 1,200-acre master-planned community and is surrounded by 36 holes of golf,
European-style spa, restaurants, and 15 acres of pools and recreation activities.
This would make a wonderful last minute family vacation before school starts. Omni
Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is a family oriented resort with an 850-foot lazy
river, kid’s pool with slide and water features, and amazing kid’s activities. Shuttle
transportation is provided to all
four Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and Downtown

For those desiring to extend their stay before and/or after the convention, the
special $119 room rate (plus applicable taxes) will be honored from August 1st -
13th, based on availability prior to July 14th.
Room Rates
A block of standard deluxe rooms (run of the house) have been reserved for attendees at a rate of $119 per night, plus applicable taxes for single or double occupancy
(rack rate at this time is $249). The $15 daily resort fee is part of the $119 room
rate and currently includes transportation to Disney theme parks, use of health
club, use of all recreation activities, including lazy river pool, tennis, volleyball
and basketball, daily newspaper, local and 1-800 calls, in-room coffee, high speed
internet access in guestrooms, and evening turndown service upon request.
The special $119 room rate (plus applicable taxes) will be honored from August 1st
- 13th, based on availability prior to July 14th.
Upgraded Room Rates
If you are interested in upgrading your room, special FFEA room rates are
available as follows:
One-bedroom Junior Suite $149 (rack rate at this time is $450)
One-bedroom Parlor Suite $199 (rack rate at this time is
$300) - A Parlor Suite
is a living area attached to a Standard King at $119
One-bedroom Executive Suite $275 (rack rate at this time is $750)

reserve suites.
Villas are also available at these special FFEA room rates:
Two bedroom villas $313 (rack rate at this time is $698)
Three bedroom villas $432 (rack rate at this time is $872)

Early Departure Fees
To avoid an early checkout fee, advise the Omni before check-in of any change in
planned length of stay.
Check In/Check Out Times
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 noon. All guests arriving
before 3:00 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available. Guest Services
can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable
and for guests attending functions on departure day.
Reservations
To make reservations, call 1-800-THE-OMNI (1-800-843-6664) and identify yourself with the Florida Festivals and Events Association (FFEA). The $119 room rate is
only available until the FFEA block is filled or Monday, July 14th, whichever comes
first. FFEA strongly urges you to reserve your
room nights as soon as possible.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card. A deposit of one night’s
room and tax will be charged to guarantee the reservation. Any guaranteed reservation
not cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival will forfeit the initial deposit equal to
one night’s room and tax.
Reservation Deadline
The $119 room rate is only available until the FFEA block is filled or Monday, July
14th, whichever comes first.
Parking
Self-parking is available at no charge. The current overnight valet rate is $14.00,
plus tax.
Attire
We want you to be very comfortable while you are learning and networking. Please
dress casually (no coats and ties).
