Beth Marshall, Producing Artistic Director, Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival

Beth began her Orlando Fringe career as a beer tent volunteer in 1997 and has served the organization as an actor/director/producer and Associate Producer. Currently, as Producing Artistic Director of the oldest and most profitable Fringe Theatre Festival in the United States, Beth's responsibilities include managing 4,000 artists, 1,000 volunteers, 30 contractors, a board of directors, and a small staff with the goal of producing a 12 day festival of theatre, art, music, dance, and madness. The mission of the festival is to provide an accessible, affordable outlet that draws diverse elements of the community together and inspires creative experiences through the arts. The festival incorporates 100% un-juried, uncensored, accessible art that gives 100% of the box office ticket sales back to the artists. In 2007, Beth received the Bank of America’s Orlando LOCAL HERO Award, United Arts A+ Awards for Operational Excellence for an Arts Administrator and Best Marketing Strategy, as well as an Excellence Award for Fringe Marketing Strategy.
