Prior to becoming Director of Corporate Partnerships of Newport Harbor Corporation, Gail served as the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations of the Newport Yachting Center, a division of Newport Harbor Corporation, developing the waterfront event site from one national event to five national events while increasing corporate partnership sales 5700%! Her current responsibilities, in addition to the partnership sales and fulfillment, include the core event concepts, strategy, execution, advertising, marketing, and public relations. The events are inclusive but not limited to – the Schweppes Great Chowder Cook-Off, the Snapple Sunset Music Festival, the Newport Waterfront Irish Festival, the Taste of Rhode Island, and the International Oktoberfest! She also introduced non-profit partnerships to the events inclusive of Hugs and Halos, Children’s Miracle Network, United Cerebral Palsy, Autism Project of Rhode Island, Literacy Volunteers and American Diabetes Association. Gail was also on the team that created the community focused Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center.
