Phil McCarty is the founder and principal of Cause Innovation, a cause consultancy providing organizations with strategy development in organizational development, brand enhancement and cause platform campaigns. Having led successful cause marketing and branding campaigns for both nonprofits and corporations, Phil has first-hand knowledge of the challenges facing each on a daily basis. As vice president of corporate alliances for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, he launched the organization’s first corporate marketing division and directed the nationally renowned brand awareness and fundraising campaign, Thanks and Giving. As an advertising and public relations account director for FedEx and Doubletree Hotels, as well as art and children’s museums, government agencies, and zoos and aquariums, Phil helped create cost-effective, fresh marketing and community outreach campaigns. He has helped to raise millions for the cause marketing initiatives of companies like Chili’s, Tommy Hilfiger, VISA U.S.A. and Domino’s Pizza.
