Calling all Entertainers! FFEA is currently accepting applications for acts to perform for our 300+ event professionals during the Annual Convention & Tradeshow. This is your opportunity to showcase your talent in person to entertainment buyers throughout the state.

What are Entertainment Showcases?

Entertainment Showcases are opportunities for Performers to “showcase” their talents to over 300 attendees representing events, festivals and fairs as well as industry suppliers and sponsors. The acts that are selected to perform will have dedicated time slots to grab the attention of the participants – a great way to increase the chances of being booked! 

 The Entertainment Showcases Committee is seeking a wide variety of unique performances – music, dance, visual and novelty acts.

 

When are the Entertainment Showcases?

The Entertainment Showcases will held during the FFEA Annual Convention and Trade Show from August 21-23, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, FL.   Performances are generally 15-20 minutes in length and scheduled during times where attendees are seated at or near the stages.

The Entertainment Showcases will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, FL during the FFEA Annual Convention and Trade Show.

Feature Showcase

The feature showcase is either roving or on a 8x12 stage on the tradeshow floor with some lounge seating for attendees.

  • 15 minute Roving performance during hospitality hours or coffee break OR 1-2 person stage performance during tradeshow hours
  • Featured You-Tube link in mobile event app
  • Listing with logo and contact info in printed program

Agents wishing to exhibit and showcase multiple acts must submit one application PER ACT. Agents representing multiple selected acts will pay the exhibit fee ($550 for Members and $700 for Non-Members) plus a showcase fee of $50 per act.

Important details

  • Applications must be received no later than March 27, 2018.

  • The application fee is $10 per act submitted and nonrefundable.All applications fees MUST be paid by March 27th or the act will be removed from consideration.

  • Application includes links for a YouTube video performance (required) and Social Media Links (optional).
  • Acceptance notifications and performance times, set-up details, etc. will be emailed by mid April 2018.

  • If accepted, the artist or artist’s agency is responsible for the showcase / exhibit fees due by May 1, 2018.

  • Exhibit fees do not include electric access at the booth, however it may be purchased for an additional fee.

  • A waiting list will be maintained in the event there is a cancellation.  Cancellations must be received by June 30, 2018, in order for your performance fee to be returned.
