Baby K'tan - Marketing Coordinator
Job Description:
Baby K’tan, LLC is seeking a full-time, ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing
team. The department develops and implements the creative services for the entire Baby K’tan
brand, including digital media, social engagement, print media, brand partnerships, marketing
programs, tradeshow participation and more. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role
within the marketing department and with the VP of Marketing, coordinating the planning,
execution and reporting on all projects and campaigns.
Core Responsibilities:
 Coordinate marketing projects: Clarify project requirements, propose timeline, present to
management team, implement and monitor progress.
 Social media management: Generate ideas, plan and implement programs from start to
finish. Assist with content development for social media and blog posts. Infuse new ideas
to design and create content rich marketing.
 Blogger partnership programs: Research and evaluate prospective partners. Help
determine level of participation, and implement programs.
 Tradeshow coordination, and logistics: Attend shows, coordinate outbound and inbound
show shipping, lead follow-up activity/mailings to leads.
 Press and Editorial: write and pitch press releases for new product releases and news.
Pitch to press and media regularly to maintain brand presence in the industry.
 Digital and print advertising: Help with selection, editing and submission.
 Keep track of Marketing Department calendars, including; project calendars, events
calendars and campaign schedules.
 Create and maintain reports and recaps for marketing initiatives while thoughtfully
summarizing and pulling key analytical data for VP of Marketing
 Research and maintain knowledge of industry trends
 Participate in meetings with marketing team to review status of current projects
Qualifications:
BA in Marketing or Public Relations, or 4 years of relevant marketing experience.
The Marketing Coordinator must have superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage
multiple priorities and projects at once. Requires individuals that can manage a demanding
work load with the ability to balance self-managed tasks as well as work in a team. Ideal
candidates should possess strong and effective communication skills - including superior writing
and editing abilities - and strong problem solving skills with an attention to detail. Must be
proficient in Microsoft Office and have a knowledge of common PR/marketing applications
(Google Analytics, Facebook ads etc.). Lastly, the Marketing Coordinator should have the
enthusiasm to learn, develop key skills and grow within the organization.
