POSITION:                         Marketing Assistant

REPORT TO:                       Director of Marketing

STATUS:                             Entry Level (1 -2 years of experience) - Full Time to include nights and weekends as needed

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Special Event Management
    • Design and Implement
    • Maintain Budget
    • Coordinate tenants and other participating entities
    • Creative management skills
    • Manage event staff
    • Work with Director on all collateral materials
    • List event in various media outlets, e-calendars, etc.
    • Post event evaluation
    • Social Media
      • Coordinate all in-house social media programs, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, website
      • Work with tenants to coordinate social media programming
      • Increase followers and experience
      • Website postings
        • Internal – Wordpress
        • External - Calendars
        • Computer proficient including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Photoshop
        • Extra points for video editing capabilities!
        • Other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing or Ownership

Interested candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  A team player attitude is required along with a strong desire to excel.  Strong organization and multi-tasking skills are required.

Downtown at the Gardens is a fast-paced work environment, the successful candidate will be able to adapt accordingly.  This is a NO ATTITUDE office, we all do it all!  We have fun at work, but we work REALLY hard.
