There are many good reasons to be a member of the Florida Festivals and Events
Association, but member surveys indicate
that the most important is the ability to connect and exchange ideas with other
event professionals throughout Florida and across the nation. As
an FFEA member, we will help you connect with your fellow FFEA members in order

Annual Convention & Trade Show
The FFEA Convention and Trade Show offers a high quality three-day educational program
filled with new ways to manage and grow your event's sponsorships, creative and
cost effective marketing, safe operations, securing and rewarding volunteers, and
how to improve your bottom line. In addition, there is a trade show where vendor
members have a chance to showcase their up-to-date products and services. With more
than 300 attendees, there are plenty of networking opportunities with peers, exhibitors,
speakers, and sponsor properties. Delegate members receive a 25% discount on registration
fees and exhibitors receive a 33% discount on registration fees.
Regional Educational Events
FFEA Regional Educational Events provide educational training to an area near you.
Top-ranking speakers from FFEA's Convention and Trade Shows provide full day training
in the areas of sponsorships, marketing, programming, volunteers, operations, administration
and personal growth. Regional Educational Events often include behind the scenes
visits to local festivals. All members receive a 33% discount on registration fees.
Last year, a regional seminar was conducted in Perry, Florida at the Florida Bluegrass
Festival and included a behind-the-scenes tour. On January 28th of this coming year,
an educational and networking event will be held in Delray Beach.
Regional Networking Events
FFEA Regional Networking Events provide members an opportunity to meet each other
in their area and through that, exchange ideas and be a resource on any challenge
that may come their way. It's a great way for vendors to connect with members in
your area on a relaxed one-on-one atmosphere. Last year, 50 members in the Tampa
Bay area enjoyed a complimentary lunch and an afternoon of watching baseball at
BrightHouse Field.
FFEA Webinars
FFEA Webinars provide members the opportunity to learn without even leaving their
office. It also allows for several members of their organization to join in the
learning process at one low cost. FFEA’s first webinar is scheduled for December
2nd on Calculating the Worth of Your Sponsorship and will be conducted by IEG.

include a picture, description of your event or service, contact information, and
link to your website. Update your information and change it 24/7. The website is
a resource for immediate information regarding FFEA's activities.
FFEA Newsletter
Published 8 times per year and hitting your inbox for easy reading, the FFEA Newsletter
provides insightful up-to-date articles concerning the event industry from such
organizations as IEG, Tourism and Tidbits, the Florida Governor's Office, and FFEA
speakers. It also provides a way to stay connected with FFEA activities, learn about
members and sponsors, post jobs, and ask questions.

This member-only area will provide members the ability to obtain other members'
information, as well as link to their email or website 24/7. Members receive a free
listing. Published in the early part of each year, this comprehensive directory
is arranged by organization, by member name and by category.

articles, identifies potential funding sources for events, programs, and projects,
and mentors grant seekers, you will receive GrantStation Insider. This valuable
tool, published weekly and emailed to you, will provide you with the latest news
and information about funding opportunities, upcoming grant deadlines, conferences,

Silent Auction
There are two great ways to participate in a FFEA Silent Auction…you can donate
or buy (great bargains at great prices)! By donating, you can increase the marketing
value of your event, product, and/or service to over 350 event producers and planners.
The silent auction is during the annual convention and trade show. 100% of the revenues
received from silent auction items are utilized toward education and program initiatives
for FFEA members.
Online Registration
You never have to leave the comfort of your chair; you can simply register for any
FFEA seminar and the Annual Convention and Trade Show, 24/7. The registration system
will provide you with the events details, a direct link to the event property, and
a confirmation. You can also request dietary concerns and send special requests
through the system to FFEA. It even permits you to enter a reminder to your Outlook
