Robbie Walker, Founder of Florida Municipal Marketing

Robbie Walker, a 37 year veteran of municipal government, has worked for, or on behalf of, four municipalities throughout the State of Florida to include the cities of Hialeah, Doral, Pembroke Pines and Port St. Lucie.

Throughout his early career, Walker worked mostly as a Parks and Recreation professional holding a variety of positions that range from Recreation Leader to Director of Parks and Recreation. In the mid to late 1990’s, the focus of his career then shifted primarily to the areas of public relations, marketing, and corporate sponsorship.

Although acquiring many skills along the way, his most valuable asset is the ability to work with businesses and corporations to form partnerships benefitting the communities in which he serves through the creation of a strategic sponsorship enterprise.

During his tenure, Walker has produced successful sponsorship initiatives and partnerships with a large number of prestigious corporations such as Coca-Cola, Leon Medical Centers, Sedano’s Supermarkets and Papa John’s Pizza, as well as, National Hockey League Franchise, the Florida Panthers Hockey Club.

Based on his track record and footprint in the municipal sponsorship arena, Walker founded Florida Municipal Marketing in 2010, where he has honed his craft to become one of the leaders in his field today.

Walker is a now a resident of Vero Beach where he resides with Debbie, his wife of thirty-three years.
