Moss Communications

Developing long-term relationships and fostering new ones. That's what the Florida Festival and Events Association (FFEA) Annual Convention and Trade Show is all about for Guy Potter of Moss Communications in Tampa. "Trade shows like this one are a strong part of my overall long-term marketing strategy and the affiliation with FFEA has paid off with exposure to existing clients and the ability to meet new customers as well. It might take seeing someone three or four times until there is a connection, but that's why it's important to maintain on ongoing relationship with FFEA," according to Guy.

Since 1989, Moss Communications has been outfitting organizations with fully synthesized state-of-the art Motorola two-way radio rentals. As part of their FFEA sponsorship, they have always donated radios for the convention… an invaluable tool when committee members are spread throughout a large hotel. Moss Communications has also financially sponsored the Late Night Hospitality Hours for the past three years. Last year, capitalizing on his partnership with "We Love Logos", Guy donated embroidered polo shirts and tee shirts for FFEA Board of Directors and Committee Members. This year, he will also be providing handy tote bags for convention attendees to carry their on-site program notebooks and convention materials throughout the three-day period. Moss Communications has also sponsored FFEA's Regional Seminars.

Guy says his company has decided to target a few key organizations to remain with over the years and FFEA is definitely one of them. He believes the annual event is a huge asset to his company, and he highly recommends participation by other vendors and event planners. "The high-quality educational material provided at the convention is unparalleled in the industry", according to Guy, "so it's an excellent opportunity to take for anyone in the business."
