Session Description

This sessions blends an overview of the latest and greatest in marketing trends with ideas that spark creativity that drive results.Delivered workshop style, this session reviews new marketing technologies and non-digital trends.Then attendees work in groups to tackle a creative project designed to inspire boldness in their approach to promotion.

With a background in strategic marketing, Jessica has a passion for connecting people and creating experiences based on strategic goals. She has a reputation as the Go To person regarding marketing, meeting design and anything involving trends in technology. Jessica's expertise lies at the intersection of communication and technology, leveraging both digital and traditional tools to help organizations and individuals share their message and strengthen their networks.

Jessica's professional background includes experience in the professional services, association management , B2B marketing and entertainment. For almost two decades she has worked with businesses and not-for-profit organizations across North America on the development and execution of strategic planning and marketing initiatives designed to grow revenue and market share.

Jessica believes in volunteerism. She is the current President of the PCMA Greater New York Chapter and the New Jersey Professional Services Marketers Association (NJPSMG). She served as Director of Marketing for the charity, Operation BBQ Relief. This year, she was a finalist for the PCMA Foundations Visionary Awards for Community Advocate of the Year and has been named as a Brand Builder by Leading Women Entrepreneurs. In 2016, NJBIZ named her as one of New Jerseys Best Fifty Women in Business and previously to New Jerseys Top Forty Under 40. She was named to the 2016 Best Marketing and Communications Professionals Under 40 list by the NJ Ad Club and Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association and was inducted into New Jerseys Advertising Hall of Fame in 2016. In 2015, the Association for Accounting Marketing named her Volunteer of the Year. In 2013 she was named a Finalist for Woman of the Year from the Women's Center for Entrepreneurship. In 2014 she made MeetingsNet's Top 10 Social Media Influencers List. She was twice named Planner to Watch by Convention South magazine and was inducted into the New Jersey Social Media Hall of Fame. Connect Meetings and Rejuvenate Magazines named her to their Forty Under 40 list. She was also named Planner of the Year by the New Jersey chapter of MPI and is a JASPER Award winner in the special event planning category. She received the PCMA New York Chapters Presidents Award in 2013.

Jessica is a frequent presenter on the topics of digital and content marketing, networking & connecting people, event engagement and technology. She has authored numerous articles and blog posts and wrote the book, Perfect Pairings: The Art of Connecting People. Her latest book Everyone Has Sh*t: Unsolicited Advice for Being Human was released in 2017.

Jessica earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in with majors in Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship. Jessica holds the designations Certified Association Executive (CAE), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Digital Event Strategist (DES).
