Marjorie Waldo has transformed the Arts Garage in Delray Beach from an organization at the edge of closing it's doors to a thriving arts organization with something for everyone in the community. In a little over two years, Arts Garage has undergone a complete transformation. The Arts Garage CEO & the Marketing Director will give you an overview along with tips, tricks and real life examples on how they were able to make magic happen at Arts Garage and how you can do it too!

MARJORIE WALDO

CEO & President, Arts Garage

MARJORIE WALDO, a former high-profile educator, brings a comprehensive skill set to Arts Garage. Ms. Waldo earned her BA in Drama from the University of‹ Virginia. With an MA in Educational Leadership from FAU, and as a career educator with over 25 years experience, Marjorie is accomplished at strategic planning, budgeting, organizational accountability, grant writing, and fundraising. Her strengths also include educational programming and community engagement and collaboration. Marjorie's love for the performing arts is rooted in her belief that their universality gives theater and music the power to foster a sense of belonging for a beautifully diverse population and to heal communities by bringing people together.


AMANDA MACMASTER

Marketing Director, Arts Garage

AMANDA MACMASTER is addicted to all things digital, coffee and her little family including her husband (Scott), her daughter (Fiona), and her 5 rescue pets (JP, Tammy, Sadie, Coal & Bella). Amanda turned her passion for technology, creativity, and design skills into a career as a PR and marketing professional. A Boston native and UMass Amherst graduate, Amanda relocated to South Florida where she honed her marketing and design skills focusing on the arts, non-profit organizations and event marketing. Amanda's resume includes, Marketing Director for Arts Garage in Delray Beach, Founder of MacManda Media (clients include large festivals, interior designers, authors, speakers, nonprofit organizations, and more), Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Miami Design Preservation League & Art Deco Weekend, Immediate Past President, Board of Directors Greater Miami Festival and Events Association.
