Fran Etienne is the President & CEO of etn coaching + consulting (etncc.com), a leadership coaching firm that helps individuals, entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and small businesses reach their goals, faster.
Fran started her career in Public Relations in Baltimore at a boutique law firm called Warshawski where she represented international brands like Gore-Tex and Georgia Pacific pitching to national publications like the Today Show.
Upon moving back to her native Palm Beach County, she transitioned into the nonprofit sector, working for United Cerebral Palsy, American Cancer Society and Trustbridge. At TrustBridge, which is the combination of Hospice of Palm Beach & Broward Counties and Hospice by the Sea, she found a passion for the employee experience and employee communications. As the two competing hospices merged, Fran took the lead on managing internal communications for the organization, working with executive leadership to create a cohesive employee culture through transparency and engagement activities. She harnessed this experience and expertise to make the jump from nonprofit to the corporate arena.
At Comcast, a Fortune 50 company and a consistent Fortune 100 Best Place to Work, she was hired as the first-ever Manager of Employee Experience and Communications for the Florida Region, reporting directly in through the Vice President. She had the distinct opportunity of defining the employee experience for every call center in Florida in direct conjunction with executive leadership. In her role, she operationalized the employee experience, developing consistent accountability measures by uncovering each call centers’ unique leadership style and creating systems that capitalized on those strengths. During her tenure, the Florida Region maintained the highest employee satisfaction scores in the company, with one site reaching 90% overall satisfaction. At Comcast, she became an iPEC certified executive coach-an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited program- and a certified PROSCI change practitioner.
After working with and observing some of the most successful leaders, Fran decided to take her strengths in championing strong leaders, bringing individual and business goals to life and challenging leaders and teams to grow to start a business where she can share that knowledge with more individuals and small businesses. She knows that the key to achieving goals at any level from personal goals to business goals lies in having a well-defined leadership strategy, which consists of crystal-clear direction, the right roadmap and unshakable motivation. In her work, she discovered that individuals and organizations alike try to look for one-size-fits-all solutions that don't last, her passion is to help you and your business define your distinct leadership style and harness it for continuous growth.
