This year’s Oktoberfest might look a little different, but the fun will be the same! Admission to this festive event is free to the public. There will be German-themed music and decorations, and food and beverage will be available for purchase at a few bar locations and at food trucks.

Join the City for a memorial toast to open 2020 Oktoberfest! Because of COVID-19 and social distancing, areas will be spaced 6 feet apart in advance, so groups can enjoy the festival together. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Facial coverings will be required when social distancing is difficult to maintain.

Inaugural Wiener Dog Race

Enter your dachshund in the 1st Annual Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races. It doesn’t matter if your wiener dog is a real race champion or a race novice, just and bring it to our event by 5 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 for a chance to participate in this year’s races.

All entrants must be real wieners (dachshunds) and will be required to show proof of current vaccinations.
