It’s Thyme to celebrate! The West Palm Beach GreenMarket, the premier Saturday spot to gather fresh food and local goods, kicked off the 25th season on Saturday, October 5, 2019. One of the largest markets in the region, the GreenMarket features a variety of products, including fresh produce, exotic plants and flowers, herbs and spices, baked goods, gourmet and specialty foods, coffee and teas, and much more. The GreenMarket also features live music, unlimited mimosas for $10, free activities for kids, plus plentiful green space and seating for a morning of fun and relaxation. This Saturday morning ritual in downtown West Palm Beach is the place to see and be seen every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. October through April! The GreenMarket is dog-friendly and always FREE.

The City of West Palm Beach’s GreenMarket and its 90+ vendors have pledged to eliminate plastic straws, coffee stirrers and Styrofoam cups and containers from the market. The initiative, which is a collaboration between the Parks and Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, is making a measurable mark on the City’s efforts to enhance the viability of West Palm Beach as a modern model of healthy, environmentally progressive, ecologically sustainable and resilient urban living. The City also encourages vendors to eliminate single-use plastic bags and is suggesting patrons arrive by the City’s popular and free trolleys. Though we sometimes feel small when working as individuals, our collective efforts make a huge impact!
