Flamingo Gardens is a 60-acre sanctuary for thousands of rare exotic tropical & native plants, as well as Florida native wildlife including alligators, bobcats, eagles, otters, turtles and of course, flamingos. Founded by Floyd L. & Jane Wray in 1927, Flamingo Gardens also offers narrated, guided tram tour, a butterfly conservatory, daily animal care specialist talks & wildlife ambassador presentations and the Wray Home living History Museum, built in 1933.
