Volunteer Committees

Are you looking for ways to expand your professional network and contribute to FFEA? Committee volunteers help shape FFEA by advancing its strategic plan and influencing the direction of our industry. Serving on a committee is one of the best ways to become involved and make an impact on your profession. If you’d like to become more engaged, we invite you to volunteer to serve on a year-round or Annual Conference Committee.

“I volunteer because it’s a rewarding and fulfilling membership with the best people in the industry. The relationships and the memories that come from FFEA are unmatched by any other volunteer opportunity in our field.”
-
Maiken Stefany, EventFest

  • Increased recognition through visibility on FFEA website and FFEA events.
  • Recognition at all events by wearing a Committee Member Ribbon.
  • Sharpen networking, communication, marketing and leadership skills through interaction with other members.
  • Camaraderie developed through relationship building with other committee volunteers, members and event community.
*All committee volunteers must be a Member in Good Standing during entire term.

“Volunteering for FFEA allows for great learning experiences and networking opportunities with people throughout Florida and in different industries. After attending my first conference last year, I knew I wanted to be involved with FFEA as the current committee was extremely welcoming and the benefits were endless. I am incredibly excited to take on a leadership role with FFEA and serve on the Marketing Committee for the 2018 Conference and look forward to attending another outstanding event this year” - Alecia Savas, Moffitt Cancer Centers
