Mountain Productions was founded in 1979, providing staging to local and regional events. In 1981, Mountain Productions was chosen as the staging provider for Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park, launching the company into the national spotlight and opening the door to a world of opportunities.
Over the following years, Mountain Productions has had many successes with the Jacksons' Victory Tour, Live Aid, two Papal visits, Presidential elections and continued service for the top festivals across North America. Growth in our core business allowed for expansion into distribution, OEM manufacturing and expansion into rigging and installations. With 4 offices across the nation and globally, the MTN brand has grown into many industrial sectors. These successes, along with our spirit of innovation and growth, have made us what we are today - the largest staging company in North America.
