Guests will enjoy authentic food and retail vendors, belly dance and musical performances, archery and chess, and other activities great for families on the grounds and against the backdrop of the historic Opa-locka fire station and city hall buildings. Admission is FREE, with an opportunity to purchase goods on site.
Also part of the event will be the launch of the city’s first-ever permanent museum installation: the Opa-locka Heritage Trail. The Trail is a 15-station outdoor interpretive installation that shares never-before-seen images and stories of Opa-locka’s founding in 1926.
MENA Fest is being produced by Ten North Group in partnership with the City of Opa-locka and the Opa-locka Preservation Association.
