Guy Harvey, Ph.D., world-renowned artist, scientist, conservationist, and entrepreneur, will host two separate events at the Papa’s Pilar Rum Distillery, 201 Simonton Street, in Key West to celebrate the launch of his new book: “10,000 Chicken Sandwiches – The Story of my Fishing Family, Jamaica 1956-1986.” A portion of proceeds from sales of the new book, and all Guy Harvey merchandise, benefit ocean research, education and conservation initiatives through the Guy Harvey Foundation (GHF):
Lecture & Libations with Dr. Guy Harvey (10 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- The action-packed Saturday starts with a fundraising event that includes brunch and a presentation by Dr. Harvey on the GHF’s educational programs and scientific research to save our planet. Seats are limited to 50 people and tickets are $50 (advance) & $60 (at the door).
