Tasha Hyder

General Manager, Clay County Fair

Tasha Hyder joined the Clay County fair team as their General Manager in November 2015, approximately 135 days before the 2016 fair, not that she was counting! Tasha was the Events and Recreation Coordinator for the Town of Orange Park before coming to the fair. Originally from a small horse farm in Unicoi, Tennessee, Tasha has lived in Florida for 15 years. She has a Master’s Degree from the University of North Florida, where she also served as their Director of Women’s Basketball Operations from 2003 to 2007. Tasha looks forward to bringing a fresh perspective to an already great agricultural fair in Clay County and describes bringing the Great Idaho Potato Truck as her “biggest” career achievement to date. She believes that events should always have something new to offer their visitors each year.
