From Sidewalk to Spotlight: Logistics & Lessons for Art Based Event Organizers

FFEA members and guests are invited to a dynamic 90-minute roundtable from 4 to 5:30 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, 2201 Second Street, Suite 600, Fort Myers, Florida 33901-3086. This interactive session is designed for festival and event professionals interested in strengthening their community programming. Participants will hear insights from the organizers of the Fort Myers Art Walk, ArtFest Fort Myers, and the Island Hopper Songwriter Festival, sharing how they’ve successfully transformed streets and public spaces into vibrant cultural destinations. Breakout discussions will follow, giving members the opportunity to exchange ideas and creative solutions on artist coordination, logistics, marketing, and storytelling. Light refreshments will be served.

After the meeting, members are invited to continue the conversation at a pay-your-own-way dinner (location to be announced), followed by the chance to experience the Fort Myers Art Walk hosted by the River District Alliance where strategies discussed earlier will come to life.

RSVP: Please confirm your attendance for the meeting and indicate if you plan to join the dinner with FFEA Southwest Regional Ambassador Elln Hagney, Enlightened Monkey Arts, at 617-823-5081 or EllnHagney@EnlightenedMonkeyArts.com.
