18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference

Date: Jan 22, 2026
Time: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Please join United Abolitionists, Inc. and the University of Central Florida’s Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery.

18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference. This hybrid conference brings together survivors, lived-experience leaders, advocates, technologists, researchers, and policymakers to confront the growing role of technology in driving human trafficking. We will identify innovative strategies, policy reforms, and tech-based interventions that protect vulnerable populations, disrupt exploitative networks, and empower survivors to lead systemic change. This is more than a conversation; it’s a movement to rewrite the algorithm and reclaim the digital space for safety, justice, and freedom.

Behind the Click: rewriting the algorithm to reduce demand against exploitation.

Our conference speakers are all survivors and lived experience experts.

We’re collecting essential hygiene items to support survivors of human trafficking as part of the 18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference. Donations will be received the day of the event. What to donate: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, liquid hand soap, soap, body wash, ChapStick, body wipes, lotion, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, new undergarments, face wash, feminine hygiene products, hairbrush, and small backpacks.

To respect the privacy and comfort of all attendees, a designated Red Zone seating area will be available within the auditorium for guests who prefer not to be photographed or recorded. No photos or videos will be taken of individuals seated in this area.
